Bookable Access Facilities

Lovebox Festivals Ltd has been working hard to ensure we offer an accessible and enjoyable experience for disabled customers and those with specific requirements. With a team who has been hosting events in Victoria Park for many years, we’re working harder than ever to make adjustments and additions to the layout and operations in order to make it as accessible as possible. Please read all the below information before purchasing your ticket(s). We have a slightly different booking process this year and now have a dedicated Ticketmaster accessible ticketing team.

When booking your ticket through our dedicated hotline you will receive alongside your festival ticket (if you have the valid documentation) the below:

  1. An Accessibility Wristband.
  2. A carer ticket (if you are unable to attend the festival without the aid of assistance).
  3. An Accessible parking space (for blue-badge holders only).

*If you wish to register for any of the above facilities, you must do so by Friday 3rd July 2016. Applications cannot be accepted after this time.

1) Accessibility Wristband

This grants access to all of the following accessible facilities on the site:

  • • Viewing platform(s) (unsheltered).
  • • Wheelchair-accessible toilets at viewing platform and Welfare tent (other accessible toilets are located in each of the main toilet blocks throughout the arena).
  • • Use of the Accessibility drop-off/pick-up point.
  • • Power chair charging point located at the Welfare tent and main stage viewing platform.
  • • Assistance dog area located at the Welfare tent.
  • • Lowered bars, which will also have large-print menus.
  • • Induction loop at main check-in point.
  • • Partnered local taxi service off site, for those requiring wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

If you have registered for the Accessibility Wristband and it has been confirmed by Ticketmaster, you will be sent your wristbands and parking pass (if applicable) in advance.

2) Carer Ticket
We operate a scheme where you are able to bring a carer/personal assistant who gets free entry*. This is limited, and is a scheme for the exclusive use of people who would otherwise be unable to attend Lovebox without the aid of a carer on site. This carer ticket must be confirmed by our dedicated accessibility team in advance and is not an automatic privilege when registering as an accessible guest.

3) Accessible Parking
There is strictly NO general parking anywhere at Lovebox and the surrounding area is very restricted with regards to parking. While we strongly advise using public transport due to lack of parking available and trying to lessen our carbon footprint, we are well aware that some people may require blue-badge parking due to mobility difficulties. We therefore have a blue-badge parking area* (approx. 375-400m from the arena entrance/exit) with a limited number of spaces.

*Applications for spaces are operated on a first-come, first-served basis due to such limited space.

To gain access to this parking area, you must register in advance via the Accessible Ticketing Team on 0800 988 4440 for a Lovebox Parking Permit, which we will send you in advance. You must display this permit in your car upon arrival – entry will not be granted without this.

If you wish to make use of any of the facilities listed above, please contact the Accessible Ticketing Team by Friday 30th June 2017.

In order to book your accessible tickets please call the Accessible Ticketing Team on 0800 988 4440

PLEASE NOTE: Your accessibility pass(es) will not be sent out in advance with your ticket(s). All passes, including vehicle accreditation will be collected at the designated accessibility window at the box office at Crown Gate entrance.
